We have been updating the course and this year will be the best yet! With aerial views, 5 arches, and plenty of climbs, this course is just the challenge you have been waiting for. We will start and finish at the Natural Bridge Campground right off of the Slade exit. Stay at the campground and enjoy a full weekend of celebrations for the whole family!
Entry Fee: $80
We love trail running and want our race series to be available to as many people as possible. If the registration fee is a barrier for you or someone you know please contact us at [email protected]
For everyone’s health and safety, we are limiting the capacity of these races.
If you would like to check out the course, please click here. Please note that this terrain changes on us sometimes and we may need to make some adjustments as we get closer to race day. Email [email protected] with any problems or questions.
We have been very busy getting everything ready for an incredible Rugged Red Half Marathon. We are so excited to share this trail with you all! Please see below for some important details and reach out to me at [email protected] with any questions.
Packet Pick Up – Friday September 23 – Natural Bridge Campground
We will be at The Natural Bridge Campground from 4-9 PM on Friday September 23 for you to pick up your bibs and shirts. You must retrieve your bib by 9 PM on Friday to race on Saturday. You must complete a waiver to receive your bib. If someone else will be picking up your bib, please be sure that they have your completed waiver which can be found at www.ruggedred.org. We will have a food truck on site and look forward to getting to meet you or see you again.
Race Day – WATER
Be sure to have water with you for the race. We will have 3 water stops, but these will be refill stations and you will need your own bottle/pack/etc. There will be miles without aid stations, so you will want to be prepared. Our incredible Search and Rescue teams will be on site to aid if needed. After 2.5 hours on course, you must reach the check point at mile 6. If you are unable to do so or if our SAR team members determine that it is unsafe for you to complete the course, you will be directed to the nearest trail back or escorted back to the campground. Your safety is our top priority.
Please familiarize yourself with the map of the course. This can be added to whatever tracking services or mobile devices you use.
